ABOUT THE EVENT /

The "VIII Workshop on Melanoma Models" will take place in São Paulo on August 9-10th, 2017. This symposium is an excellent opportunity for researchers and physicians in the field to discuss the latest advances in basic and translational melanoma research and the clinical impact of the scientific achievements in Brazil and the world.

This workshop is supported by the Brazilian Melanoma Group (GBM) and will be held in parallel to the 12th Brazilian Conference on Melanoma. This is an initiative of both the clinical and basic scientists’ communities to create an opportunity to interact and share knowledge and experiences. It is also a chance for Brazilian researchers and students to discuss their work with international and national experts of the basic and clinical melanoma communities.

The preliminary schedule is already available:

-  August 9th - University of São Paulo, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Students and invited speakers will participate on a morning session of scientific discussions. Students selected for oral presentation will present their work.

 - August 10th - Rebouças Convention Center: Invited Speakers will present their work during morning and afternoon sessions. Students will present their work during the poster session. Lunch-boxes will be provided.
